To every single person who joined us and supported us throughout the World Cup, we’re so grateful.

You filled the pub, brought the atmosphere and made every busy shift and late night worth it.

Running a pub isn’t always easy, but moments like these are exactly why we do it. Seeing our community come together to share the football, the celebrations and the drama reminded us what a local pub is all about.

We hope you’ll come back and see us again soon, for the football, a catch-up or simply a well-earned pint.

Good Afternoon Whitchurch

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Greyhound will be closed for the next few days.

We’re so sorry for any inconvenience this causes, especially to everyone who was planning to spend the weekend with us, and to our fantastic musicians and DJ who were due to entertain you.

We’ll keep you updated if anything changes, but for now we appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, enjoy the sunshine, have a wonderful weekend, and we hope to see you all again very soon.

Good evening, Whitchurch!

It’s looking like another hot few days, so why not make the most of it here at The Greyhound?

Wednesday is Free Pool from 12pm until 6pm. If you fancy escaping the heat for a while, come inside for a game or grab a cold drink and relax in our gorgeous beer garden.

On Saturday, Keith’s 70s & 80s Retro Rewind is back from 3pm until 7pm. The last disco was absolutely brilliant, so we’re doing it all again with another afternoon packed full of classic tunes. Fancy dress is always welcome if you fancy getting into the spirit.

Then on Sunday from 4pm, it’s another one of our popular Afternoon Sessions as Wild Candy take to the stage with an afternoon of fantastic live music, covering all your favourite rock, pop and indie classics. As always, free entry.

Whatever day you choose, we’d love to see you. Come and enjoy the sunshine, a cold drink, some fantastic food and another great week at The Greyhound.

We’re open now, with Smashed Kitchen dishing up juicy smash burgers and loaded fries, the beers are cold, and our lovely beer garden is looking the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Then from 4pm, we’ve got The Unconventionals playing live, bringing you a fantastic afternoon of classic covers and great atmosphere.

So if you’re looking for somewhere to relax, enjoy some great food, a few drinks and live music, come and join us. We can’t wait to see you!
