One of the things our guests love most about Goathland is how easy it is to slow down here.

There’s no pressure to fill every minute. A gentle wander through the village before heading back to put your feet up at the Inn can be more than enough.

When did you last take a few days to properly reset?

For us, being “dog-friendly” means more than simply being allowed through the door.

Our four-legged guests arrive to their own Canine Companion Package, complete with a treat, toy, poo bags, bowls, blanket, towel and a bed waiting in the room.

So you can pack a little lighter - and they can settle in straight away 🐾
