Chinese Night at The ‘Dales.

On Thursday 12th November we are hosting our first theme night which will be a Chinese 3 course set menu at £40 per person. Guaranteed to have full tummies by the end of the night.
We will be running two sittings 6pm & 8pm.

We are super excited to announce we have been named in The Good Food Guide top 100 pubs for 2026.
We could not be prouder of our whole team in achieving this in such a short period of time since reopening. Big thank you to you all.

For spooky season we have Portergeist on cask! It’s a salted caramel porter at 4.2% Come and join us for a pint before is disappears.

On Tuesday 27th October we will have CleanCrust pop up in the garden serving pizzas from 4:30pm- 8.00pm to eat in or takeaway.The pub will be open serving drinks from 4pm until 9pm.

Local North Yorkshire venison loin & leg served with celeriac puree, roasted beets, bay pickled blackberries, a rosti topped with cottage cheese and venison meatball. Finished with Madeira & green peppercorn sauce.

At 5.6% it’s a deep, dark ruby ale with a rich fruity flavour with hints of black cherry & banana.
Perfectly paired with one of our braised beef & onion pies and a dark chocolate slice with boozy cherries.

We are currently on the look out for a couple of new superstar team members to join us. The roles we are recruiting are a kitchen porter and a front of house team member.

It will be work in the evenings and weekends.
We provide training, so experience is not essential.
We pay above minimum wage plus a share of the tips.

With darker nights creeping in we will be starting our autumn/ winter opening hours.
From 5th October we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays back open with drinks & pub snack at 3pm on Wednesdays with food served from 5pm. Our same operating hours for the rest of the week.
