🌸 It’s Bank Holiday weekend! 🌸

Why not fill it with treats from West End Barns? 🐴🍦☕️

West End Barns Café will be open Saturday & Sunday, 9.30am–4.30pm (closed Bank Holiday Monday), serving our usual array of hot & cold drinks, sausage rolls, ice creams — and the best sausage rolls around! 😋

The Cake Shed will be open Bank Holiday Monday, 8.30-late, stacked full of cold drinks (including iced coffee!), cakes, ice creams and snacks 🧁

Never visited The Cake Shed before? Monday is the perfect day to come and discover it!📍 Both are located at West End Farm, AL4 8EG.

💛 West End Barns Café: access via the wooden gate opposite the smaller car park on Ferrer’s Lane.

🌻 The Cake Shed: access via the smaller pedestrian gate next to the main farm gate.

A little reminder when visiting either The Cake Shed or West End Barns, please don’t wander around the yard or stables, as these are private and very busy. We have plenty of seating available where you’ll be able to spot the horses and tractors from the café and shed!🐴🚜

We’ve survived another heatwave! 🥵 This weekend’s weather is looking cooler (24 degrees part sun 🥳) which means it’s the perfect opportunity to get out for a walk with the family or your four-legged friends 🐶

As usual we’ll be fully stocked with…

🍦 the best Lewis of London ice cream (cones, tubs, dog ice cream, ice lollies and vegan tubs available!)
🧊 iced coffees, cold drinks (including Pimm’s & iced tea!) as well as our usual hot coffees
😋 the highest quality sausage rolls from Little Jacks (including veggie and vegan rolls)
🍰 plenty of our locally made cakes from This Blondie Bakes

August already! ☀️

Harvest is normally just starting in August, but with the dry weather we have been having, we are nearly finished! 🥳 🚜 Will we have the month off? No, always jobs on the farm to be done!

It’s looking like perfect conditions this weekend for a walk or cycle so we really hope you’ll pop in and see us.

We’re open 9.30-4.30 Saturday & Sunday, located at West End Farm, AL4 8EG 📍 Please remember to enter via the West End Barns gateway, not the main farm gate, as although it is often open, it is in constant use with heavy machinery (tractors and trailers).

A cooler weekend awaits 🥳 We’ve been a little quieter at the café recently, but hope that the fresher weather and This Blondie Bakes’ cakes will tempt you back this weekend!

We also have our usual ice cream flavours as well as blueberry & lemon, rum & raisin and cookies & cream which means there really is no excuse to stay away!

Our ice cream/ traybake combo is back! 😋 And with a new limited addition ice cream for this weekend, lemon and blueberry 🍋🫐

The decision between choosing a traybake or an ice cream is over…. choose from one of our This Blondie. bakes tray bakes, pick your Lewis of London ice cream flavour and voilà you have the tastiest of treats fit for a heatwave. Accompany the combo with an iced coffee and your weekend is sorted!

We’re open Saturday & Sunday 9.30-4.30 and have plenty of undercover seating and dog bowls for your four legged friends if you are taking them for an early walk before it gets too warm.

July brings the start of combining on the farm! ☀️ Hot sunny days have ripened the crops, some of which are now ready to harvest from the fields. This means long days for our farmers, often working well into the night.

For our customers, July means more opportunities for ice creams and iced coffees! We have 12 flavours of ice cream to tempt you with, as well as This Blondie Bakes cakes and the best sausage rolls 🍦

A little reminder, now the farm yard is busier, please remember to enter via the wooden West End Barns gateway, not the main electric farm gate. Thank you and we hope to see you this weekend, maybe you’ll even spot one of our tractors or combine harvester too! 🚜 💛

Father’s Day this weekend - treat that special person in your life to an award winning sausage roll, served hot with a side portion of tasty caramelised onion chutney! Or a beautiful home-made cake🧁 or perhaps a scoop of the best quality local ice cream served in a waffle cone 🍦 We also have football biscuits, perfect for World Cup lovers! ⚽️
