Well England, you know how to keep us on the edge of our seats! Panama next, what's your prediction for the score???

It's blisteringly hot and with this in mind, having spoken to Luke Edney and Ed (from The Weysters), we have, with reluctance, cancelled our evening entertainment for Thursday and Friday. With all the doors closed (as per our licence restrictions) and volume of people, the temperature inside is likely to exceed 30 degrees and that is not safe. We are looking at alternative dates and will get these to you ASAP. Apologies but your well being and the team's is most important.

That said, it's cool(er) in the garden so join is for a beverage.

Can England do it again??? Find out this evening when England play Ghana in their second World Cup match of 2026.

Although all our bookable tables are reserved, feel free to just rock up and enjoy the action in the main bar area. A reminder that under 18s will not be allowed in the bar after 8pm and that our doors will close at 830pm this evening (or earlier if we are full).
A win tonight should see England through to the next round and that would be exciting 😎🥂

It's Monday and yep. we're back with our Meet the Team Monday 🙂

This week it's our resident organiser Simon in the spotlight 🧐. Relatively new to our side of the bar, Simon has made a lasting impression on our shed, fridge and stocktaker - cutting his counting time by half! Loved by customers and staff, here's what you need to know . . .

Favourite tipple - a drop of Sherry only in crystal of course!

Fun fact - yet to break a glass on shift. Dropped a few but those skills kicked in. Expect that record will be short lived now . . . watch this space!

Pet hate - parents who don't clean up after their kids. Been there and you can do it 🙏

Happy Saturday folks - the cooler before the heat I believe 🥵

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our annual Children's Party in support of The Weybridge Festival. We all had a wonderful afternoon and the grown ups, sorry children, were so well behaved 😉

To those who joined us after the fun, what a great night - kebabs, beer, live music, banter and a bit of a sad Scotland score 🥲

Nice one England and thank you to everyone who enjoyed the excitement with us last night. England's next match is against Ghana on Tuesday evening, again at 9pm. We have 2 tables left available to book in the Garden Room so, if you'd like one of these, pop in and reserve it. Bums need to be on seats by 8pm or we will give your table to anyone waiting - enjoy the pre-match beverages here with us!

Reminder that it's our Children's Party tomorrow afternoon. The fun starts at 330pm when Crazy Hazy takes to the stage to entertain your little ones. Their supervision is your responsibility and ensures that everyone has fun. There will be a picnic tea before the party ends. If you've already booked, fantastic and we look forward to a great afternoon. If you haven't booked, there are a few spaces left so give us a call. The sun will be out and fun will be had 😎

The evening is reserved for adults and the crazy theme continues when 'Crazy Lil Thing' are back in the building ready to party! Bring your dancing shoes and let's get the weekend started. Music from 830pm 🥂

Tomorrow sees England's first World Cup match when they take on Croatia at 9pm. What will be the result and why not find out here with us? We still have a few tables left to book in the Garden Room or get here early and be a 'walk in' to the main bar area. If you have booked a table please arrive by 8pm or we will offer your table to someone else. On this occasion under 18s will not be permitted in the bar beyond 8pm. This applies to the garden areas too. Should England proceed to the next round, this will be reviewed. Now let's get ready for the big game ⚽️

Oh yes, it's time for this week's edition of Meet the Team Monday!

Tonight it's another of our younger team members Milly who is currently studying at Leeds University. Milly is always full of smiles and can brighten even the darkest day. She's been part of the team for around 18 months now and works any shift that's available. So just expect her to pop up!

Favourite drink - Raspberry Gin and Lemonade

Little known fact - she wore Crocs at The Jolly for a whole year!

Pet hate - when it's busy and you are collecting glasses and people don't say thank you!

Next time you see Milly on a glass run - you know what to do!

Happy Monday folks and it's going to be a great one in every way!

The sun is out, it's warming up, we have loads going on to entertain you, Omer will be BBQing and, of course, we have the biggie, England v Croatia on Wednesday evening!
