Tonight the incredibly talented Tony Black, the cycling guitarists, pedals his way back to North Somerset to perform two fantastic shows.
Watch him tonight when he joins us at the OKH from 8pm.
Then tomorrow he will be playing The New Inn at Kewstoke at 7.30pm.

Ahoy there ! Me hearties.

How about this then. Sunday 18th October sees Piratitude come ashore. The Bristol swashbuckling rapscallions will be performing sea fairing Pirate folk tunes from 4pm.

Pirate Sunday as this day shall be known, going forward, will be full of singing, dancing and rum and ale swigging.

As is the Old Kings Head way we are openly encouraging you land lubbers to dress in a pirate style with the best participant winning some pieces of eight.

There will be some rum flights and all participating pirates will be welcome to join us at our shipmates table for cheese and port after the performance.

This Thursday we’re more than happy to host the gig a day guy Isaac Neilson. Isaac has been recommended to us by our friends at Jamo Music as he attempts to play one gig a day for 2026. He’ll be stopping off at BS226QR for his 280th gig and we can’t wait to meet the acoustic guitarist.
Isaac will be playing from 8pm, right after meat draw and PYCR.

Here’s a date for your diaries.

Saturday 5th December sees the return of the annual Old Kings Head Xmas fayre. Hopefully this year without all the rain and the power cuts.

Stalls open between the hours of 2pm and 5pm, any craft makers or independent stall holders that wish to join us please message the pub directly as stalls are filling quickly.

As usual there will be hot mulled c***r and we will be joined by Forman’s Street Bowls who will be keeping you good folk nourished with their seasonal delights.
