It's another lovely day here in Weston-super-Mare - perfect for a stroll along the beach to Uphill, a few arcade games on The Grand Pier and some fish and chips, maybe from Winstons Fish Bar or one of our other excellent fish and chip shops.

🚂Come and join us. We're around half an hour by train from both Bristol and Taunton! 🚂

Are you ready for tomorrow night’s Weston-super-Mare Carnival?

Winstons Fish Bar is certainly all set and ready to go for the biggest night of the year in the town.

The chippy on Beach Road has got one and a half tonnes of potatoes all lined up and ready to peel. They’ve got 700 pieces of fish to drop into the fryer and 600 sausages waiting to sizzle.

And if any carnival goers out there are worried that might not be enough, Winstons have told us they’ve got plenty of reserve supplies sitting in the freezer.
