ANOTHER CHARITY UPDATE! ❤️
A huge thank you to The Regency and The Waverley, who have added another £106.95 to our Children’s Hospice South West fundraising.
That takes the total raised so far from £505 to £611.95! 🦍🔥
Absolutely brilliant — and there may still be a little more to come.
£611.95 and counting! ❤️

£505 AND COUNTING! 🦍🔥🇦🇺

Georgia has now swapped The Criterion for Australia, the Gorilla has hung up his BBQ tongs (for now!), and we’ve finally counted up the money so far.

An amazing £505 has been raised to date for Children’s Hospice South West — with a little more still to come.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, bought some food, put money in the pot, donated, helped out or simply joined in with the day. It was a cracking afternoon and your generosity made it all worthwhile.

Georgia is now safely on the other side of the world 🌏🇦🇺 — but the fundraising isn’t quite finished yet, so donations are still very welcome.

Thank you from everyone at The Criterion. 🍻❤️

After Mike’s spectacular Employee of the Month award for outstanding service behind the bar, it’s only right that we recognise the man keeping the whole operation moving behind the scenes.

This month’s award goes to Gorilla, our Utilities Manager, for extraordinary dedication, box-handling excellence and truly going above and beyond the call of duty.

Badge worn with pride, because greatness deserves proper labelling.

For outstanding commitment to pouring his own pint, keeping his part of bar moving and maintaining exceptionally high standards of pub-based excellence, now and then...

Well deserved, Mike. Your pretend award is in the post… probably via the red post box outside. 😂

Join us at The Criterion on Sunday 30 August for Georgia’s leaving do and Gorilla’s Charity BBQ.

Georgia will be working her final shift at The Criterion this Saturday afternoon, 22 August, before getting ready for her travels—with Australia first on the list! 🇦🇺

Pop in, keep her busy and catch her behind the bar one last time.

Just to be clear, this isn’t the leaving party. Georgia’s proper send-off, together with Gorilla’s Charity BBQ, is coming later…
