International Coffee Day feels like a pretty good time to finally showcase these guys, our very own coffee range 🩵💚💛❤️
For years, you've been coming to our vans for your morning fix. You've told us what you love, what works, and what keeps you coming back. So when we started thinking about which coffees to offer online, we knew exactly where to begin. Each coffee we've chosen reflects the same values we've built our business on: quality you can taste, sourcing you can feel good about, and coffee that fits into real life. No pretension, no nonsense. Just excellent coffee, roasted with care.
We'll properly introduce you to each member of the gang soon...

One of my favourite parts of our rebrand was getting my teeth into something a bit different for a while. Getting out from behind the coffee machine momentarily and sat back at a desk (it's been a while!). Allowing myself to be less logistics-driven and more creative and actually enjoying a Zoom call or two. This is a shout out to the hugely talented and immensely patient Spicerm .agency who took on our brief and delivered more than we could have hoped for. Luther really took the time to understand our business and the journey we'd taken to get it to where it is today. Give him a follow and check out his gorgeous work.

Coffee in our house this weekend looks a bit like this. Made simply and enjoyed slowly, soaking up the September sunshine ☀️ We hope you’ve found a moment to savour your cuppa this weekend 💛

Commer Coffee & Co - a small but important tweak to our company name.
From the moment we opened in the height of 2020 lockdown, it's always been about more than just really good coffee. It's also been about company. It's been a touch point, a moment just for you, maybe the only chat you get outside of family and work life that day. The "& Co" part of our name is more than just the business; it's a promise. It's the care that goes into every coffee, the value we place on our amazing customers, the friendly face behind the counter that will always be up for a chinwag (queue length permitting!). If you're here for it, we are too. Good Coffee AND Good Company.
***Disclaimer: we also get that many folk can't string a sentence together before they've had their first sip of coffee. We see you, we recognise that look in your eyes, no words or pleasantries are necessary. Tap and go my friend, we'll catch up another time 😴 ***

Confession time ☕

Almost a year ago, we changed our logo. No big announcement, no fanfare — we were too busy pulling shots, chasing after our kids and in the midst of a major house move to make a fuss.

But it’s about time we told you why. We’ve come a long way since opening the hatch for the first time in 2020. Our community, customers and partners have helped shape us along the way and we felt we’d outgrown our old logo. We wanted a bold logo that was still rooted in where it all started - in a quirky old van which brought a little ray of sunshine to some very dark days during lockdown.

It was designed by the brilliant - an independent creative (and all-round lovely chap) doing the same thing we’re doing: making something with real care, picking projects he really cares about, striving to be better not bigger. That mattered to us.

This new look isn’t just a fresh coat of paint. It’s part of a bigger story we’re excited to be building upon. New logo, new chapter 💛

What's brewing? 👀
After an incredible summer, there's been something nice about getting back into a routine, enjoying a bit of space from the kids and having the head-space to focus on work (for 6 precious hours a day anyway). We have lots more we still want to achieve in 2026 so we are fired up, fully caffeinated and ready to hit AW26 at full throttle! Watch this space 👀
What do you still want to achieve before the year's out?

Hitting the hay after a bonkers 48hours at the incredible UK Winter Festival. We love this event. It’s serious hard graft but the energy in the arena is infectious and we do our best to match it (the caffeine certainly helps). We are in awe of your commitment, enthusiasm and phenomenal glutes.

Thank you for having us. Roll on the Summer Games! ☀️ 💪🏼 ☕️

Ps I would have been in bed earlier if I hadn’t been glued to insta, seeing all the successes and back stories of the amazing guys we’ve served coffee to all weekend. We know you’ve done months of training but I like to think it was our little caffeine injection that pushed you to that PB…😉

Pps For everyone who enjoyed our coffee this weekend, don’t forget to use your TURF20 discount code at our online shop. Link in bio.

2025 was probably my busiest year to date, both professionally and personally. I know I’m not alone in juggling all that it takes to run a small business, raise a young family and maintain some sort of meagre social life. I am lucky to know, and learn from, so many amazing small business owners doing the same. It is rewarding and exhausting in equal measure, but what makes it EASILY the best job I’ve ever done is my wonderful customers. You turn up, share, laugh (and sometimes cry) and make the early starts and cold feet entirely worth it. Thanks for your loyalty and good chat. You are the best.

And talking of the best….Commer Coffee wouldn’t have got off the ground 5 years ago if it hadn’t have been for the continued support from Geoff and Jan
. The definition of a “proper local”, the Royal Oak is the perfect home for our Clover. Thank you for letting us serve tasty coffee to Molesey (and beyond!) on your turf, your support has been incredible.

We’re back open on 3 January. As some of you know it’s a big year for us, but we continue to move forwards - backed by love, friendship…and a truck load of caffeine. Exciting times ahead. Happy New Year 💛

Merry Christmas from our l’il family to you and yours. We are closed for a couple of days to rest some, eat lots and complete all the board games. My cup is full ☺️. May you find happiness, peace and a really nice cuppa over the festivities. We’ll be back open Saturday 27th Dec to find out whether you made the nice list 🎅.
