Our Fruits de Mer Feast is the kind of Bank Holiday indulgence you can smell before you even reach the door.
Oysters chilled on ice with that perfect salty snap…
King prawns sizzling over the grill, dripping in garlic and lemon…
Scallops seared until the edges caramelise…
Sardines with smoky, crackling skin…
Moules marinière swimming in a broth so good you’ll chase the last drop with bread.
One event. One long, lazy afternoon of pure coastal flavour.

West Mersea, brace yourselves.
Because on Sunday 24th May, The Victory is basically hosting the Seafood Olympics, and I fully intend to compete.

Expect:

🔥 BBQ vibes strong enough to make you rethink your life choices
🎶 Music that will absolutely cause accidental shoulder‑dancing
🌅 A seaside backdrop that makes every photo look like a holiday advert

If you need me, I’ll be there from 12 noon, pretending I’m “just browsing” while actually eating everything in sight.

Well… the gravy boat has officially sailed! 🚢
Our Sunday roasts have hung up their Yorkshire puddings for now — but don’t panic!
