⭐ We Are Hiring - Assistant Manager ⭐

The Dukes Seafood are currently in the process of adding a brand new, covered, heated waterside dining area, which will allow us to develop into a year-round, more structured casual seafood restaurant alongside our existing takeaway business.

We're looking for the right person to join us as Assistant Manager to help us build this new chapter.

The role

Working closely with the manager, you'll help develop and manage the business allowing several different customer experiences to operate alongside one another:

- Our existing Seafood Takeaway and informal waterfront seating
- A new casual seafood restaurant, with table service, indoor and outdoor dining and a seasonal hot-food menu.

You will play a key role in the day to day running of the business, including;

-Helping develop the restaurant service and customer journey
-Creating practical systems for bookings, walk-ins, table allocation and waiting customers
-Helping recruit, train and lead the front-of-house team
-Developing clear standards and procedures
-Working closely with the kitchen and front of house to control the flow of orders, improve speed, organisation and customer experience

We're looking for someone who:

-Has hospitality experience - some supervisory or management responsibility is preferable but not essential.
-Is confident leading a team during very busy services, can make decisions, is organised, practical and calm under pressure
-Has some experience with restaurant table service and bookings and the day to day running of a hospitality establishment
-Is a team player and wants to support their team whether it be managing a busy lunchtime service or serving customers, clearing tables and pouring drinks.
