🍽️ VAT's The Problem 🍽️
The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign calling on the Government to reduce hospitality VAT from 20% to 10%.
As an independent restaurant, we see firsthand the challenges facing hospitality. Rising costs continue to impact restaurants, pubs, cafés, hotels and bars across the UK, and a reduction in VAT would provide vital support for businesses, employees, customers and local communities.
Led by chef and publican and supported by industry organisations including , and , this campaign aims to give hospitality the fairer VAT rate it deserves.
This isn't just about restaurants. It's about chefs, kitchen porters, waiting staff, bar teams, farmers, suppliers, brewers, producers and everyone whose livelihood depends on our industry.
