We are ready for the summer! Exciting times a head for us at Bishops eye with our draught install getting closer and closer, later service and our tapas menu really starting to take off at the weekends!

With how hot this week has been, we have set up a water station inside Bishops Eye, fell free to come fill up bottles or take a take away cup of water with you.

No catch, no spend required, just there to help you keep rehydrated!

Our new tables and chairs have arrived to so will be extending our external area on to the market place under the trees, lots of shade in this lovely but not so lovely weather

Served at Bishops eye! Congratulations Sandford Orchards!

We're over the moon to share that Red Zero, our alcohol-free version of Devon Red, has been crowned 'Best Alcohol-Free Cider in the World' at the World Alcohol-Free Awards 🏆

The judges described it as:
"An orchard in a glass with gorgeous aromatics of toffee apple, red apple and tarte tatin. Complex and multi-layered, and lovely to sip on a late summer afternoon."
Almost everyone who tries Red Zero tells us they'd struggle to believe it's alcohol-free.

🍻 The confirmed draught line-up is finally here! 🍻

After weeks of setbacks, delays and let-downs with contractors, we’re pleased to say we finally have everything confirmed — and we’re hoping for an install date to take place later this week, so watch this space!

We know it’s taken longer than planned, but we wanted to make sure we got the right premium line-up after coming to terms the first, second and third plans didn’t come off and what seemed like we were compromising the premium line ups we wanted! In swept Alex at 7 Day Cellar Ltd to the rescue with an amazing line up!

Estrella Galicia
A beautifully smooth Spanish lager with a crisp, refreshing finish. Easy-drinking, premium and perfect for those relaxed evenings at Bishop’s Eye.

ABK Pilsner
Brewed in Bavaria by a brewery with over 700 years of history, ABK Pilsner is a traditional German lager with a clean, crisp taste and proper heritage behind every pint.

Level Head IPA
A modern, sessionable IPA packed with hoppy character, citrus notes and a smooth finish. Full of flavour without being too heavy.

Devon Red Cider
A proper West Country cider from Sandford Orchards. Fresh, fruity and full of character — a brilliant addition for cider lovers.

An Update on Our Draught Beer Installation

We wanted to share a quick update with our guests regarding the installation of our new draught beer system at Bishop’s Eye.

Unfortunately, there has been a slight delay with the installation, meaning our new draught line-up will be arriving a little later than first planned.

However, we remain fully committed to bringing you a premium draught selection very soon, carefully chosen to complement the Bishop’s Eye experience.

Our upcoming line-up will include quality beers and cider from both respected and distinctive producers, offering something a little more refined for relaxed evenings, sharing boards, tapas nights, and after-work drinks.
