🌴☀️ Happy Sunday from the Chilled Eskimo Beach Club! 🍦🍹

We’re back on site today for Day 2, and what a fantastic start this journey has been!

Yesterday was our maiden tour, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first day. The feedback was amazing, and seeing so many smiling faces enjoying our Beach Club made all the hard work worthwhile.

A huge shout-out to Jim and the team at Noel’s Ice Cream, Caldecote, Warwickshire. 🍦👏

The ice cream was absolutely top drawer, and our customers loved every scoop. Thank you, Jim, not only for supplying an incredible product but also for your fantastic customer service and support from day one.

Our Cheeky Tiki frozen cocktails and mocktails were also a huge hit, proving that the Beach Club experience is about much more than just ice cream—it’s about creating great memories, good vibes and bringing a little bit of island time wherever we go. 🌺🍹

Now it’s time for Sunday Social – Day 2! ☀️

🍦 Today’s the day…

Three years ago, the Cheeki Tiki Bar was ready to launch, but life had other plans. A broken foot, damaged ligaments and a few unexpected twists meant the dream had to wait.

Today, it’s finally here.

The Chilled Eskimo Beach Club is open for its very first event, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited.

This isn’t just about serving ice cream, cocktails or cold drinks. After 30 years in hospitality, it’s about getting back to what I’ve always loved most… creating an experience where people can relax, smile, and make great memories.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’ll keep adding, improving and tweaking as I go. But every great journey starts somewhere, and today is the first chapter.

Tomorrow isn’t just another event.

Tomorrow is the beginning of something I’ve been dreaming about for years.

Three years ago, I had an idea.

An idea to create more than an ice cream stall.

I wanted to create a place where people could pause for a few minutes, smile, relax and enjoy being together.

Then life happened.

The launch never came.

But dreams have a funny way of waiting for the right time.

Tomorrow, The Chilled Eskimo Beach Club finally opens its doors.

The menus are finished.

The Signature Stacks are ready.

The Cheeki Tiki frozen cocktails and mocktails are ready.

The decorations are up.

The music is queued.

The freezer is full.

The little details that nobody notices have all been carefully thought about because, after 30 years in hospitality, I’ve always believed that people remember how you make them feel.

This is only our first chapter.

There will be things to improve.

Things to learn.

Things to tweak.

But every great journey starts with one customer, one smile and one memory.

To everyone who’s supported me, encouraged me and believed in this crazy tropical dream…

Sometimes life presses pause on your dreams… but it doesn’t cancel them.

Three years ago I had an idea.

I was full of excitement, ready to launch something I’d been dreaming about.

Then life happened.

I broke my foot, damaged my ligaments, and everything stopped before it had even begun.

It would have been easy to say, “Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.”

But dreams don’t disappear just because life gets difficult.

They wait.

Over the last few years I’ve rebuilt, learnt new skills, made mistakes, started again more times than I can count, and slowly put the pieces back together.

This weekend, that dream finally becomes reality.

Not because everything went perfectly.

But because I never stopped believing it was possible.

So if you’ve got something you’ve been putting off…

If life knocked you sideways…

If you think you’ve left it too late…

You haven’t.

The finish line isn’t reserved for the people who never fall.

It’s for the people who keep getting back up.

Keep going.

Your future self will thank you for not giving up.

🍦🌴 This weekend, every ice cream can help bring hope. 🫶🏻

At Chilled Eskimo Beach Club, we’re all about creating smiles, making memories and bringing people together.

This weekend, we’re doing something even more special.

We’ll be supporting Hope for Kit, a fundraiser for my beautiful nephew, Kit, who turns four at the end of August.

After months of intensive treatment for Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, our family was devastated to learn that Kit’s cancer has relapsed. He now faces another long journey of treatment and clinical trials.

I’m incredibly proud of my sister, Nikki, who has spent the past 12 months by Kit’s bedside. She has shown unbelievable strength, courage and unconditional love, fighting every single day alongside her little boy.

Kit’s bravery and Nikki’s strength inspire us every day.

🌴 Three years ago this was supposed to happen…

Some of you won’t know this, but Cheeki Tiki was actually born over three years ago.

I had the ideas, the plans and the excitement to launch it… then life had other ideas.

I suffered a serious foot injury, damaged my ligaments, and everything had to be put on hold.

Since then, life has thrown a few more challenges my way, but one thing never disappeared… the vision.

After more than 30 years working in hospitality, one thing has always mattered more to me than anything else…

People.

Seeing families laughing together.
Watching friends making memories.
Helping someone forget about work for half an hour.
Making people feel genuinely welcome.

For me, hospitality has never just been about serving food and drink.

It’s about creating an experience.

COVID changed the hospitality industry, and eventually I stepped away from it.

But if I’m honest… I missed the people.

So this feels like coming home.

The Chilled Eskimo Beach Club is the beginning.

Soon it’ll grow into the Cheeki Tiki Cocktail & Gin Bar, bringing tropical vibes to festivals, weddings, private parties, corporate events and Christmas markets.

There’s still plenty to build.

I’ll keep tweaking it.
Adding new ideas.
Improving every little detail.

Because I don’t just want people to buy an ice cream or a cocktail…

I want them to leave smiling.

If, for ten minutes, someone forgets about their worries and feels like they’re on holiday…

Then I’ve done my job.

Over the past few weeks, the Chilled Eskimo Beach Club has started to come to life.

Every decoration, every menu, every Signature Stack, every little detail has been chosen for one reason…

To create an experience.

A place where families can stop for a few minutes, enjoy amazing locally made ice cream, take a photo, relax and leave with a smile.

But this is only the beginning…

We’re also introducing the next chapter…

Now, it’s finally becoming reality.

This weekend is another step on that journey, and I honestly can’t wait to see where it leads.

Maybe one day the Chilled Eskimo Beach Club will be travelling all over the country, bringing tropical vibes wherever it goes.

For now, we’re just getting started…
