Christmas has arrived at hatton locks cafe. The lights and tinsel are up and all our gift ideas are on show.
We have locally sourced honey and jams/chutneys. Glass work and we offer two vouchers for the cafe. One for afternoon tea for 2 and one for food and drink to the value of your choice.
We also have our homemade Christmas cakes for sale.

Another year is soon coming to an end and as always we feel it is important that our staff have a break over the festive period so please note our opening times for Christmas week.

Mark has been busy preparing his lovely Christmas cakes and feeding them with whisky. We are now taking orders for collection the week before Christmas and we will also be stocking smaller Christmas cakes for sale in the cafe. You can ring and place an order 01926 409432 or call in to the cafe or even message via Facebook.

Don't forget the date!!! Friday 15th August. The Mikron Theatre will be mooring up and putting on their fantastic show 'Operation beach hut' - A musical seaside adventure. Starting at 7.00 pm. No tickets are required. Pay what you think after the event.

Hi everyone....we are sorry but the cafe needs to close at 3.00 today due to essential maintenance work. All hot food will have to finish at 2.00.
Normal hours will resume tomorrow.

COUNTER/KITCHEN ASSISTANT
we need a new enthusiastic addition to our team.
We are looking for someone who is happy to serve on the counter or help out in the kitchen. Has the stamina of an ox and won't mind getting stuck in to the clearing up, washing up and the end of the day clearing down.
The set hours would be
Thursday 9.00 - till close (time varies with weather and time of year)
Friday 9.00 - till close (time varies with weather and time of year)
But.....we are looking for flexibility covering occasional weekend work or sickness/holiday cover
We may be small but the role will be very busy and sometimes challenging one. It needs a cool head and strength!
NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED!!!!!!!!!

Well it has come to that time of the year. We are just about to close for 3 days. We will be open from 9.00 on Friday 27th December.
We would like to wish all our friends and customers a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for making this another busy and exciting year. Thank you to all our suppliers. We look forward to working with you next year.
On a personal note Kevin and i would like to thank all our staff for their continuing support, hard work and help . We could not do it without you.

The Mikron Theatre is on its way back to Hatton Locks Cafe. At 7.00 pm on Saturday 17th August they will be performing 'Jennie Lee' - the radical MP you've never heard of!! The performance will last approximately 2 hours.
We are happy to take orders for food in advance.01926 409432. Just leave a name and mobile number.
We will be serving hot baps throughout the evening:-
Roast Pork stuffing apple sauce and gravy
Sausage
Bacon
Burgers and onions
Veggie sausage
Hot and cold drinks and icecream will be available and alcohol will be served until 9.00 pm

We are looking for help!
Are you free on a Saturday and occasional Sundays and would like to earn some money in the school holidays? A shift would be approximately 4 hours, maybe longer in the school holidays.
Are you 15 or over. Have plenty of stamina and can work hard. The role is a general kitchen help...washing up, filling the dishwasher, taking food to customers and clearing tables. It may sound easy but it is hard work and we work at a fast pace.
Unfortunately if you are a member of a sports team and need alot of time off we cannot take you on. We will need someone on a very regular basis. Please apply at the cafe. Hourly rate to be agreed based on age and any experience.

Another case of human error leaving the cafe soaking wet and staff with soaking wet feet whilst they sail away shouting "did we do that??" Please please please when you are taking a boat out make sure you know how the canals and locks work!!!!!!

Unfortunately we are unable to open tomorrow (27th march) due to a national grid all day power outage.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we shall be open as normal at 9.00 am on Thursday 28th .
