Still a little in shock from last night…
I had the privilege of attending the Making of the — something I never expected to be invited to, and an experience I’m incredibly grateful for.
But what made the evening truly unforgettable was being honoured by the outgoing Mayor with the Golden Bear Award. To be recognised in this way, for contributing to the Warwick community, means more than I can properly put into words.
Warwick is such a special place, and to play even a small part in this community is a real privilege. This award isn’t just mine — it reflects the amazing people, connections, and support that make this town what it is.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, much gratitude to her year of contribution by the outgoing Mayor, Jackie D’Arcy, and congratulations to the new Mayor, Simon Pargeter. Here’s to everyone continuing to support and celebrate our wonderful community.
