A gorgeous rustic 2-tier cake for Emily & Alex's wedding at Wellington Barn this weekend.

When we chatted through the design, Emily explained that she wanted to incorporate touches of sage green to complement her bridesmaids’ dresses. Our original idea was to feature a full sage green tier, but after exploring a few options together, we settled on a delicate stencilled wildflower design which tied in beautifully with the edible flowers on the bottom tier. The final finishing touch was subtle gold leaf detailing to reflect elements of their wedding stationery.

For flavours, they chose Lemon, Elderflower & Poppyseed alongside classic Victoria sponge, with an extra Chocolate Fudge tray cake to offer guests additional portions and another delicious flavour option.
