We’re proud to be serving the delicious Poole Heritage Best Bitter from our very good friends at The Barking Cat Brewery – and it’s the very first time we’ve had one of their beers on the bar!!

A classic, easy-drinking best bitter with a smooth malt backbone, gentle hop character and a satisfyingly moreish finish. 🍺

We’re always keen to support great local breweries, especially exciting new ones, so pop in, raise a glass and help us give The Barking Cat the warm welcome they deserve! 🐱🍻

*Tiger Tom by Cerne Abbas Brewery*

If you fancy a proper traditional pint, then Tiger Tom from Cerne Abbas Brewery is well worth a try!

This smooth 4.4% ruby mild is packed with rich malty flavour, with a gentle sweetness, hints of chocolate and even a subtle touch of blackcurrant. It’s an easy-drinking beer that’s full of character without being too heavy.

But it’s not just the beer that’s got a story… Tiger Tom is named after the legendary Cerne Abbas blacksmith, Tom Curtis – described by locals as a “gurt square hairy man!” After a hard day’s graft at the forge, this would’ve been just the sort of pint to put a smile on his face. 🍻

Brewed using organically grown barley from the beautiful Cerne Valley right here in Dorset, it’s a cracking local ale with plenty of history in every glass.
