Restaurant: Cassia Silverlink
We visited Cassia at the Silverlink and had a fantastic experience 🌟
On arrival, we were greeted by staff at the main entrance and received a very warm welcome.
Although there were no automatic doors, there was plenty of space to access the restaurant easily.
Inside, the restaurant was accessible with plenty of room to move around. Some tables were quite close together, but staff were quick to move anything out of our way when needed.
We were also impressed with how quickly a table was set up for us despite having no pre-booking.
The lighting was a little bright for two of us, but the music was quiet in the background. There was more background noise from other guests, however noise levels were still comfortable enough for us to hear each other and have a conversation.
The staff were approachable and friendly throughout our visit, and there was a real family feel to the place which immediately made us feel comfortable.
The toilets were very accessible, with a sliding door for entry. The bathroom itself was a good size and very clean.
Ordering food was very easy. The waiter came directly to our table and took each order individually, asking about dietary and allergy requirements before taking orders. We really appreciated how patient our waiter was and that he spoke directly to us rather than through our support staff.
Another very positive moment was when the manager asked one of our group (from LANE) if he needed his food blended. We have never experienced this before, so it was a huge positive to bring back to LANE that there is a local restaurant willing to do this for clients who need it.
There was a set menu available as well as the full menu. We all chose the set menu, which included a starter, main, and dessert all for just £8.
The menu was very easy to read, with bold lettering and clear prices. We liked that it wasn’t overwhelming—just front and back—with plenty of choice.
Starters arrived within 10 minutes. Staff checked if we were ready for our mains once we had finished, and these arrived within another 10 minutes.
Portion sizes were very good, especially for the price, and we were all really happy with our meals. The food was lovely, and we will definitely be returning.
Paying was very straightforward. Staff asked if we wanted to pay individually and offered both card and cash payments. We were also asked if we wanted a receipt.
The venue itself was immaculate.
The manager really made our visit extra special by coming over to talk with us. He sat at the table after we finished eating, socialised with us, and even took a photo with us before we left.
Overall, we rate Cassia 10/10 🌟
