What a fantastic night! 🙌

Tuesday night’s Wirral Buzz launch event, upstairs at The Nelson, was a huge success.

It was brilliant to see so many people from the local community coming along to find out more about a flexible extra-income opportunity that can be worked from home and fitted around existing work, family life and other commitments.

💡 Did you know that 1 in 3 people now have a second income?

If you’re curious about creating an additional income stream, our next monthly event will be:

📅 Thursday 12th November
⏰ 6:30pm arrival | 7:00pm start
📍 Upstairs at The Nelson

Come along, meet people and simply find out more about how the opportunity works, simple information, friendly conversations and importantly fun.

If you’d like to know more before the next event, drop Jamie a WhatsApp on 07592 609018 to arrange a friendly chat.

People helping people. 🤝

❤️ Please give this a share. You never know who might benefit from discovering something new!

🎃👻 HE’S OUR FAVOURITE….AND IT’S GETTING SCARY. 😂
Every pub has one.

The one who appears more often than the staff….
The one who probably knows the WiFi password....
The one we’d genuinely start worrying about if he missed a day. 🍺😂

No tricks. Plenty of treats.
He’s our favourite.
Enough said. 🎃💀🍻

👻 Have you seen our other Halloween characters around The Nelson yet? Keep your eyes peeled….there’s a few lurking about! 🎃💀

We’re proud to be hosting the Utility Warehouse monthly Wirral Buzz event here at The Nelson, upstairs in our Function Room.

These relaxed, informal evenings have been created to give people in our local community the opportunity to find out more about earning a flexible extra income that can fit around existing work, family life and other commitments.

Whether you’re looking for a side hustle, a secondary income or simply a Plan B, this is an opportunity to come along, listen and find out more — with absolutely no pressure.

📅 Our first evening is Tuesday 6th October
The event will be hosted by Jamie Conroy, a former corporate golf events specialist, and Louise Parsley, a former firefighter. Both are now partnered with Utility Warehouse and have been able to leave their previous careers behind due to this opportunity.

Jamie and Louise are passionate about the Wirral community and are also involved in supporting a number of local charities.

It promises to be a fun and informative couple of hours where you can hear their story, learn more about the Utility Warehouse opportunity and decide whether it could be a good fit for you — or perhaps someone you know.

Come along, have a listen, ask questions and find out more.

🎟️ The event is completely FREE to attend.
To register your place, simply hit the link below.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Nelson in October!

🎃👻 CALLING ALL LITTLE CREATIVES! 👻🎃

Our Halloween Tree is up at The Nelson….but there’s a slight problem. 😱

IT NEEDS DECORATIONS! 🕷️🦇🎨

So we need the help of Wallasey’s little ghosts, ghouls, witches and monsters! 🧙‍♀️👻

✂️ Get creative at home
🎃 Make something spooky, silly or downright weird
🌈 The brighter and crazier, the better!
👻 Then bring your creation into The Nelson and we’ll add it to our Halloween Tree!

No masterpiece is too scary. No decoration is too bonkers. If it makes us question what on earth we’re looking at….even better. 😂

The tree will be up from now until Halloween, so you’ve got plenty of time to get crafting.

Come on, little monsters….LET’S MAKE OUR HALLOWEEN TREE AMAZING! 🎃🖤

Firstly who doesn't love a Halloween x Christmas mashup?

Right then….who’s ready to do it all over again? 😂🍺

Last week The Nelson was absolutely bouncing. Friday was HUGE, Saturday wasn’t exactly shy either, and once again you proved that a quiet weekend clearly isn’t something we do around here. 😂❤️

So, after briefly considering having a sensible week….

We decided against it. 👀

There’s loads happening over the next few days, so here’s your excuse to avoid the sofa.

⚡ TUESDAY — WIRRAL BUZZ
Something new for The Nelson! The first Wirral Buzz takes over our Function Room from 6.30pm, hosted by the lovely guys at Utility Warehouse.

Then it’s football time….

🏴 ENGLAND vs CZECH REPUBLIC
⚽ Nations League
⏰ Kick-off 7.45pm

🎙️ WEDNESDAY — BARRIOKE IS BLACK!
The legendary Barrie Horton returns from 8pm!

❓ Quiz
🎵 Rock 'n' Roll Bingo
🃏 Play Your Cards Right
🏆 Prizes

😂 And almost certainly some absolute nonsense.
Knowledge helps. Luck helps more.

⚽ FRIDAY — WEST HAM vs QPR
⏰ 8pm

A tasty London derby to get Friday night underway…
And speaking of Friday.

🎉🎂 DAN'S GREAT BIG BIRTHDAY BASH! 🎂🎉

From 8pm with DJ Oli!
👕 Band T-Shirt Night
🎶 Party Anthems
🎤 Karaoke

Basically, wear your favourite band shirt, grab a pint and prepare to hear several songs performed with significantly more enthusiasm than talent. 😂

🔊 SATURDAY — LIVE MUSIC
Yep. More live music. We could have had a quiet Saturday.
But where's the fun in that? 👀🍺

📢⚽ THE PREMIER LEAGUE IS BACK! ⚽📢

SATURDAY:

⚽ Arsenal vs Leeds United — 12.30pm
⚽ Manchester United vs Spurs — 5.30pm

SUNDAY:

⚽ Hull City vs Everton — 2pm
🔥 Liverpool vs Man City — 4.30pm

Sunday is already looking VERY busy, particularly for Liverpool vs Man City, so we'd strongly recommend getting your table booked.

📺 And there’ll be loads more live sport showing throughout the week.

So whether you're coming for a meal, the football, live music, a birthday, Barrioke, a catch-up or simply because someone said:

“Fancy one?”

…and you possess absolutely no ability to say no…
We'll see you at the bar. 😂🍺

Another packed week at your local. ❤️
