Who is Baby Bear Bakes? Well she is me Donna I was born in wakefield (lupset) then my mum moved us to Barnsley where we stayed for most my life after been in a couple of difficult relationships I had no choice but to relocate without that much choice of where I went.
Well I ended up back where it all started in Lupset wakefield. My baking journey started in lock down really although id always baked with kids etc but having to stay at home during lockdown there wasn't much else to do other than find a hobby which you enjoy.
So back in 2025 I opened Wakefields first ever cake shed which was amazing but left us wanting more and we then went on to open Wakefields first cake caravan in May this year which we are enjoying so much.
Im awaiting a couple of surgeries at the moment which is holding me and my full potential back a little, im not doing Celebration cakes at the moment until my surgery has been completed.
