Mermaid's Rum Tasting tomorrow will start slightly earlier from midday at Blake's Tea Hut Blakes Longshoremen located on the middle of Ventnor Beach, running until approx. 2pm. Or until the rum runs out!

Join us tomorrow for the last day of Ventnor Pirate Festival. There are lots of fantastic acts and events on all day, finishing with the illuminated carnival procession at 9pm in the town.

Ventnor Carnival Week starts in just TWO weeks time! Saturday 8th August 2026

Carnival Weeks starts with the Carnival Week Community Fayre at Ventnor Park from 12 Midday.
We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our opening event with stall holders, kids zone, music and catering to keep you entertained.

There are still spaces for stall holders. £10 per stall. Please email [email protected] for more information.

We are incredibly excited to announce the official launch of our Wild Wondering Beach School sessions this summer! We’ll be setting up camp at the beautiful Monks Bay, Bonchurch for days filled with coastal exploration, rockpooling, outdoor play, seaside magic and so much more🐚✨

☀️Wild Wonderers Drop-Off (5 Hours)
Let them run wild, learn, and explore under our care!
* Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
* Price: £35 per child

☀️Wild Wondering Beach Families
Come along and join in the beach school fun together!
* Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
* Price: £10 per family session

TEA HUT Update -

To all of my lovely customers. I am very sorry for the recent closure. Unfortunately as many of you will be aware, my Dad recently passed away.
I was hoping to be back open this week, however our lovely dog (Rusty) is currently very unwell and has been needing around the clock care.
As you know, I am mainly a ‘one woman band’ in the tea hut, so it means it will remain shut for a little longer. All being well you should see me for the start of half term 23rd May, when I will have my lovely staff available to help me.

See you all soon for a much needed cuppa/ coffee and a good old chat…
