💔 With great sadness, we share the news that W***y Wood has sadly passed away. 💔

W***y wasn’t just a customer at The Tavern — he was part of the Tavern family. He had been coming here from a young boy, and over the years became such a familiar and much-loved face around the pub.

The laughs, the stories, the banter and the memories will stay with us forever. The Tavern simply won’t be the same without you, W***y.
Your seat may be empty, but we know you’ll always be around us all. ❤️

So, tonight, a pint of Carling for you, W***y. 🍺 You’ve certainly earned it.

Thank you for all the laughs and all the memories. You will never, ever be forgotten.

Our thoughts and love are with W***y’s family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him.
