Well, the weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse… 🌧️🍂

So we know exactly what we’d be signing up for this Sunday. A proper Owen’s Sunday Roast, a few hours tucked away from the weather and something very good to look forward to at the end of the week. 🤎

Whether it’s our slow braised feather blade of beef, garlic & taragon chicken supreme or one of the other Sunday favourites, we’ll have the Yorkshire puddings, crispy roasties and plenty of gravy ready and waiting.

Now, that sounds like a much better Sunday to us. 👀

Next up in our Meet the Team series… it’s Heni! 👋💚

Heni has been part of the Owen’s team full time since November, and if you’re in for brunch or lunch during the week, there’s a good chance you’ll have already met her.

Heni’s favourite thing about working at Owen’s is meeting new people and being able to tell both our regulars and new guests the story behind Owen’s and how it all came about.

Her go to order from the lunch menu? Our Beef Baguette. 🥖 Heni is particularly passionate about the mushrooms, and has a message for anyone who asks for it without them… “you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Don’t skip the mushrooms!” 😂

When it comes to a sweet treat, she’s got a sweet tooth for Frangelico with salted caramel ice cream, but if she’s ordering a cocktail, it’s our Signature Blood Orange Margarita. 🍊🍸

And for something you might not know about Heni… before moving to the UK, she was a model in her home country and won many competitions✨

So now you know a little more about Heni! Keep an eye out as we introduce more of the Owen’s team over the coming weeks 💚

There's one dessert that's become a bit of an Owen’s tradition...🤍

Since opening, our pavlova has been a permanent fixture on the menu. The flavour changes with each season, but it's one dessert you'll always find at Owen’s.

This summer's edition is Peach & Elderflower, but we've also had favourites including Lemon & Blueberry, White Chocolate & Raspberry, and Black Forest, to name just a few.
