✨ One Year of The Flax Room ✨

One year ago, a dream became a reality, and what an incredible year it has been.

From the very first coffee served to the countless homemade bakes, lunches, conversations and smiles shared, none of it would have been possible without the amazing support from our customers, friends, family and local community.

Every visit, every recommendation and every kind word has meant more than you’ll ever know. You’ve helped turn The Flax Room into so much more than a café – you’ve helped create a place where people can come together, relax and feel at home.

To everyone who has supported us throughout this first year, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Here’s to everything we’ve achieved together and to many more years of great coffee, homemade food and wonderful memories.

Our Vinted in Real Life Event is nearly here

Join us this **Saturday, 1st August**, at **Upperlands Community Centre** for a day of pre-loved fashion, great bargains and sustainable shopping.

🛍 **10:00am – 4:00pm**
🎟 **Free entry**

Our sellers will be bringing rails and tables full of quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, accessories and more, so whether you're hunting for a bargain, refreshing your wardrobe or simply love the thrill of finding a hidden gem, we'd love to see you there.

So why Upperlands? 🤍

A few people have asked why I chose Upperlands as the venue. As it's close to my hometown, it felt like the perfect place to host Frock33's very first Vinted in Real Life event.

The Community Centre sits close to the historic linen mill, and Upperlands is a village with a proud textile heritage stretching back almost 300 years. It feels like the perfect place to celebrate sustainable fashion, giving beautiful pre-loved clothes a second chance and continuing the area's long connection with textiles.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the event so far by sharing, commenting and booking a stall. I can't wait to welcome you all on Saturday and make this the first of many Frock33 events!
