So that’s a billion boxes of Gleaston Gingerbread done and delivered! Couldn’t have done it without my two beautiful elves - they worked with me for 8 hours straight yesterday without a complaint and helped with all drop offs today - so I’m feeling very lucky, full of love from the joy of baking for others again…and hoping that you lovely customers are happy too! 🥰 Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the bestest for 2022 too! 🎄❤️ X

I’ve had a few requests for my Gleaston Gingerbread boxes as Christmas presents and I’m more than happy to do this - so just letting you all know! 🎁

I will make a main local area delivery drop on Thursday 23rd December 🪂💌 (earlier dates may be arranged also if required ☺️)

I have come to the heart-breaking decision that I will not be reopening Love At First Bite at Dusty Miller’s.

This has been an incredibly difficult process, but my health and happiness must come first. The physical and mental stress and all-encompassing commitment have unfortunately become too much for me to manage and the sacrifices involved too significant.

I feel privileged to have met so many lovely and interesting people throughout this time, many of which I am now lucky enough to call friends and I thank you enormously for your custom and support, together with my wonderful staff and family for all their hard work and invaluable contribution.

Owning a café has been a lifelong dream and I am extremely proud of myself to have been brave enough to take the risk to realise it – and in fact, to make a success of it too - but I am now hopeful and optimistic for a new chapter in my life to begin.

I am sorry to say, that due to a number of health issues, I will be closing the cafe on Sunday 3rd October for a month, in line with the Mill closing for the winter season, to take some time to try and rest and get sorted out. As you know, the cafe has been unbelievably busy and although I thank you for all your custom and support, I hope you understand that if I don’t do this now, I might not be able to carry on at all.
