📢 Job Vacancy: Chinese Counter Assistant Wanted

We are currently looking for 2 polite, reliable, and flexible individual to join our team as a Counter Assistant at our Chinese takeaway in Ulverston.

Requirements:
• Must be 15 years or older
• Good maths skills (for handling cash and taking orders accurately)
• Friendly and polite attitude towards customers and colleagues
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Role Includes:
• Taking customer orders in person and over the phone
• Handling cash
• Assisting with packing and basic front-of-house tasks
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming counter area
Experience is a bonus but not essential – training will be provided for the right candidate.

We will only be open our regular days/hours which are as follows :

We would like to apologise to anyone who has seen the recent article from the evening mail regarding the 1* food hygiene inspection. We are deeply saddened by this!

We had an inspection on the 30th January and there was a couple of minor things that needed doing, these jobs were very small and mainly due to the age of the building. They have now all been completed and we had a re inspection Wednesday 2nd April we now have got a 4* rating. Which we are very pleased with.

The food here is cooked and prepared fresh daily and bought from great suppliers. We work very hard to keep all of our customers happy. We have been in contact with the evening mail and they are in the process of writing a new article regarding our 4* update.

The food standard hygiene agency have informed us our 4* certificate will be with us shortly and we will have this advertised in our window straight away.

We are very thankful to all of the support and positive comments regarding this situation from our current customers!

We would just like to let people know that we are open tonight however, just for collection and in shop orders. We will be closing at 7:30pm.

We are also Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th and will be back open on Friday 10th at 4:30.
