About Us
Ellie’s Food Hut is reopening with an exciting new look, fresh menu, and a renewed focus on quality and community. We’re looking for a talented Chef to join our team and help shape the food experience that will define our new chapter.
✨ The Role
We’re searching for someone who is passionate about great food, organised in the kitchen, and excited to bring ideas to life. This role is perfect for a chef who loves working in a warm café environment and wants to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, lunch and takeaway items to a high standard
▪️Maintain a clean and organised kitchen that meets food safety standards
▪️Contribute to menu development & specials
▪️Manage prep efficiently to support smooth service
▪️Monitor stock and work with the management team on ordering
▪️Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
▪️Work collaboratively with the team during our reopening and beyond
🌟 What We’re Looking For
▪️Previous experience as a café chef, breakfast chef, or similar role
▪️Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
▪️A calm, positive approach during busy periods
▪️Passion for fresh, beautiful, quality food
▪️Creativity — we love new ideas!
▪️Reliability and good communication skills
