A note for those who queue:

We are open for 8 hours a day, seven days a week and are currently processing around 150 customers each day. Because we only allow v small numbers in our tiny space during these COVID-19 times many of those customers are making orders for several people. An order could easily comprise 4 different rolls with brown sauce, ketchup chillie jam or mustard, skinny decaf latte, mocha, almond milk cappuccino and a flat white with associated sugars, stirrers etc all delivered with a smile and craic. Despite this, if you do the maths, you will see that our average processing time is 3.2 minutes per customer. That has not taken account of the single, double or triple scoop gelato and the time people take to make their choices - a time we are more than happy to allow - for everyone YOU included!
To achieve this my wife and I (both in our mid to late sixties) are working intense 12 hour days with no breaks... we make and grow all of the produce on offer too!

Well... vanilla - you wouldn’t think it was a big deal..! We were intending opening on the 15th but life had slightly different plans. Margaret is back making ice cream albeit with assistance on the heavy lifting. So sometime this week? We’ll keep you posted, as they say...
