Around 75% of our team are young staff, and for many of them, working at The Swan is their very first job!
They’re learning new skills, building confidence and finding their feet in the working world. Of course, mistakes will happen, but that’s all part of learning.
And before anyone thinks we’re just talking about the youngsters… our older staff make mistakes too! 😂 We’re all human, not robots, and nobody gets everything right 100% of the time!
We’re proud to give young people the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience, but sometimes a little patience and understanding goes a long way. What might seem like a small mistake to you could be a big learning experience for someone just starting out.
If something isn’t quite right, please speak to us and give us the chance to put it right. Our team work hard, and they deserve the same kindness and respect as anyone else.
We all had to start somewhere, so please be kind to our team, young and old alike! 💚🦢
