A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and showed such fantastic enthusiasm for our very first FREE cookery lesson for kids! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

It was wonderful to see so many young chefs getting hands-on, learning new skills, and having fun in the kitchen. We couldn't have asked for a better first session!

Fresh fish, cooked your way, and a plate built exactly how you like it.

👨‍🍳🐟 FREE Cookery Lesson Tomorrow – A Few Spaces Still Available! 🐟👨‍🍳

We're excited to welcome our young chefs for a complimentary afternoon in the kitchen with our Head Chef tomorrow at Norway Inn.

Children will watch a whole Cornish fish being expertly prepared and filleted before getting hands-on and making their own delicious goujons to take away.

⏰ Ages 8–10: 2:00pm
⏰ Ages 10–12: 3:30pm

🌟 Huge congratulations to Jacob 🌟 National Apprenticeship Week Spotlight 🌟

Our Level 2 Commis Chef Apprentice — who has achieved a Triple Distinction in his End Point Assessment with the BiiAB 🎉

👨‍🍳 Jacob first joined us part‑time at The Norway Inn, where he quickly discovered his passion for cooking. In September 2024, he took the next step and began his Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship with Truro & Penwith College.
After 18 months of dedication, hard work and continuous development, Jacob has now completed all three assessment components — each with Distinction.
Jacob had a three part exam - Knowledge Test, Practical Assessment with questions and a Professional Discussion.
