In what has become a cherished Portscatho tradition, we’re once again asking our wonderful community to come together in support of a cause close to our hearts.

This year marks four years since we lost Michael Roughley - a much‑loved part of the Plume’s story. In his honour, we’ll be holding a charity swim to raise funds for Man Down Cornwall.

📍 Tatums Beach 🗓 Sunday 31st May ⏰ 11am

No registration needed - just turn up, take a dip, and donate what you can. After the swim, we’ll raise a cold Corona in Mike’s honour, his favourite way to unwind after a long day.

Later that evening, we’ll continue the fundraising with a charity quiz at the Plume of Feathers at 8pm - a fitting tribute to Mike, who was known as the pub’s very own quiz master.

Let’s come together once again to remember, celebrate, and raise a toast to our dear Mike.
