Hello Tring.
Well that's it the holiday season is almost over. Everyone can soon go back to their normal routines...
Tring has lots of hospitality venues to choose from, and in the twenty or so years we have been here, serving the local conmmunity, we have watched them, and Tring, grow!
All of the pubs in Tring are open to serve you seven days a week, all varied offerings and undoubtably something for everyone.
Customers old and new, come and go, but most of the venues serving Tring have tried to remain constant, whilst tweaking their offerings to keep it interesting.
The Piggeries is a fantastic venue, serving at the weekends and attached to Tring's own, very successful, Brewery. A great addition to the, wonderful pub crawl you can have here. Tring has always had customers using multiple venues since we have been here. It's very nice to see people, sharing the love!!
As you may well know from the news, hospitality is under a great deal of pressure, both costs and supply issues, staffing and fuel costs have climbed to an all time high. Lets hope that the New Leader that has been chosen, well by his own party at least, manages to come through for all of us on some of his promises to assist everyone.
A VAT cut would definitely help, but it won't be much use, to most of hospitality, if it's just on food. I do however, question if the health lobby would go against a reduction for Alcoholic beverage's, perhaps keg and cask products??
Enough of that, lets look forward to welcoming you all into our venues again and keeping all of the pubs in Tring alive.
They are places to meet friends, make friends, celebrate, commiserate. Places where loneliness is banished and banter, within reason, is accepted. Where local people are employed and appreciated. Venues for quizzes and bands or just holding hands.
Keep using them, please or you will lose them, and we all know many pubs have been lost, forever. Lets try not to lose any more.
