The lease is finally completed and the tenants, for The Cowshed restaurant, are now busy getting ready to open. Gareth and I are very much looking forward to having time to run our other businesses and being able to take it a bit easier.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported The Cowshed over the last 8 years and hope that you will support our tenants in their exciting venture. We can’t wait to pop across from our home to eat and drink in the restaurant as customers.

The Cowshed, and its vending area, are temporarily closed for refurbishment. Thank you to our wonderful customers for your support through the good times, and the bad, over the last 8 years since we purchased the whole site. Watch this space for exciting news on its reopening…. The rapid Instovolt EV charging area remains open and Instavolt intend to open the remaining charging points soon, as they had planned to. The Cowshed Hot Food Counter, shop and Facilities are currently closed to allow the consideration of business progression/redevelopment due to its success and forthcoming expansion of the Instavolt EV charging stations.

After the death of a close family member and illnesses, we have decided to semi retire, whilst remaining living here and running our other businesses. We want to give someone else the opportunity to build on the success of the business, that we have owned for 8 years, as it expands, whilst allowing us time to concentrate on our family and other successful businesses. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during our difficult time. While the cowshed restaurant and its facilities are temporarily closed for hot food etc we will not deprive you of the lovely pasties. Here are pictures of what is available 8am to 8pm in the self service takeaway vending area. In case it’s not clear from our page… we are on the Beddgelert road out of Tremadog. Put the postcode LL49 9SN in your sat nav and it brings you right to us. As you can see our pasties are BIG WELSH PASTIES that can be eaten cold or warmed at home and we have 6 WELSH cheeses to grab. Thank you for supporting us, especially at the moment.

Due to staff illness the cowshed restaurant is closed. The self service takeaway is open 8am to 8pm. Our pasties are in the vending machine. Thank you for your understanding.

We are sorry but The Cowshed fast food restaurant will be closed for hot food until Saturday due to a family bereavement.
The self service vending area remains open.
