🚨 Just a reminder – it's tomorrow! 🚴‍♀️💙

Tomorrow (Saturday 8th August) we're proud to once again be supporting the UK Police Unity Tour as the first stop on their incredible annual ride. 💙

🚴 The cyclists will be leaving Milton Keynes at around 8:00am and are expected to arrive at The Folly between 8:30am and 9:00am.

👏 We'd love to see as many people as possible come along to cheer on the riders as they stop with us before continuing their journey through Towcester. Your support means so much and helps recognise the amazing work they are doing.

💙 The UK Police Unity Tour raises vital funds for Care of Police Survivors (COPS), a charity that supports the families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

🚗 Please note: If you're planning to come by car, we'd kindly ask that you don't park in The Folly's car park, as we'll need all available spaces for the cyclists and support vehicles.

🚴‍♀️💙 The Folly is proud to once again be supporting this year's UK Police Unity Tour! 💙🚴‍♂️

Now in its 14th year, the UK Police Unity Tour continues to raise awareness and honour police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, while raising vital funds for Care of Police Survivors (COPS) – a charity that supports the families of officers who have died while serving our communities. 💙

We are delighted to be the first stop on Saturday 8th August. The cyclists will be setting off from Milton Keynes at around 8:00am and are expected to arrive at The Folly between 8:30am and 9:00am.

👏 We'd love for you to come along and support this year's riders, whether that's by cheering them on at The Folly or as they continue their journey through Towcester.

🚗 A small request: If you're travelling by car, please avoid parking in The Folly's car park, as we'll need all available spaces for the event. Thank you for your understanding.

☀️ Important Update ☀️

Unfortunately, due to temperatures spiking again, we have made the difficult decision to close for the rest of today (Thursday).

We know this may disappoint some of our customers, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. However, the health and wellbeing of our team—especially our kitchen team, who work in an already incredibly hot environment—has to come first. We also need to protect our refrigeration equipment to ensure we can continue operating safely.

This isn't a decision we've taken lightly, but with temperatures rising again, we believe it's the safest and most responsible decision for everyone.

We'll be back open as normal from tomorrow (Friday), and we look forward to welcoming you then.

☀️ Important Update ☀️

Due to the extreme temperatures today, we have made the decision to close during the daytime and reopen for our evening service.

This decision has been made to ensure the wellbeing of our team—especially our kitchen team, who work in an already very hot environment—and to protect our refrigeration equipment during the heatwave.

Whilst furry friends are always welcome at The Folly, we would strongly recommend that owners keep their dogs at home until the weather is more suitable for them. The pavements, cars and outdoor temperatures can become dangerously hot very quickly, and their comfort and safety must come first. 🐾❤️

We'll be back open this evening, serving great food, ice-cold beers, refreshing drinks and plenty of ice cream to help you cool down after a scorching day! 🍻🍦

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
