We had 2 young lads in today they made my day. Came in ordered a pot of tea and a cold drink.

Then asked if we can do a plain chicken baguette .

No problem I said then the other ordered chicken and bacon baguette both with chips.

The lad with the tea finished his pot of tea and several sugars and ordered a bigger pot of tea .

Their faces lit up when their food came out and they sat and enjoyed every mouthful .

They stacked their plates up neat and popped their cups on the bar .

1 lad paid for all and even said pop a £5 tip on please .

Such fantastic lads well done whoever raised them what a great job you did .

Help David Fight for His Future ❤️

On 11th July 2025, David’s life changed forever.

While on holiday in Ibiza with his wife Elly and their two children, David suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury after diving into the sea. He fractured his C5 vertebra, causing severe damage to his C4–C6 spinal cord.

After months in hospital and rehabilitation, David came home as a quadriplegic, paralysed from the chest down and requiring extensive care.

Despite being told he is unlikely to regain movement, David continues to fight every single day. He has already made progress, including breathing independently and beginning to regain some movement in his arms.

The plan 👇

We are fundraising £100,000 to give David the opportunity to access stem cell therapy in Medellín, Colombia, alongside his ongoing rehabilitation.

The proposed programme involves four visits to Colombia over one year, with treatment tailored to David’s spinal cord injury. The aim is to support the body’s natural repair processes and potentially improve his neurological, sensory and motor function.

We know there are no guarantees. This is not a miracle cure, and stem cell therapy remains an emerging treatment.

But David is already making progress, and we want to give him every responsible opportunity to see how far he can go.

We want to give David the chance to move more, gain strength, become more independent, and have more control over his future.

The funds raised will help cover his treatment, flights, specialist travel, accommodation, medical assessments and associated costs.

While David has been fighting to recover, his wife Elly has also been battling Stage 1 breast cancer. This family has already been through more than anyone should have to face.

Now we want to help David fight for what comes next.
