A little more from our wonderful Hearts & Hounds Saturday. 🤎🐾

So many wagging tails, lovely conversations, freshly brewed coffee, and familiar faces coming together for something that truly matters.

It was lovely to see so much support for Save Torbay Hospital and our local community. A special thank you once again to K9 Care & Repair and Big Green Hound for being part of such a special day.

But. So is the festive season! 🌲

And no, it’s not too soon.

With our seasonal close out looming, and a fair few of you getting anxious about your Little Bean fix… We’re excited to announce we’ll be joining Hollyhocks for their annual Christmas Makers Market on the 14th November!

Local artisans, festive cheer, coffee… A jolly perfect day out! We’ll be missing you all by then so get it in the calendar. We’d love to see you there 🤎

To everyone who stopped for a coffee, brought their hounds along, chatted, supported Save Torbay Hospital, and spent part of their afternoon with us — thank you. And a special thank you to K9 Care & Repair and Big Green Hound for joining us and helping make the day what it was.

Lots of dogs, lots of coffee, and a wonderful show of support for our local community. You lot are rather brilliant. 🤎

We have 15 bandanas available for our Hearts & Hounds day on Saturday. We will be asking for a donation of £2 each and all proceeds will go to Save Torbay Hospital fund.

In collaboration with Save Torbay Hospital, we’re bringing you Hearts & Hounds — an afternoon for dogs, their humans and our community, right here on the beach.

We’ll be joined by K9 Care & Repair Massage Therapy, offering an introduction to massage therapy for dogs, with the chance to learn more about the techniques involved and how massage can support movement, mobility and general wellbeing.

Also joining us is Big Green Hound from Cockington Court, with their beautiful handmade dogwear. Expect individually made collars, leads and accessories, created using traditional braiding and knotting techniques and quality materials — including the bespoke Little Bean set you may have spotted Stanley modelling.

And, of course, Save Torbay Hospital will be there to talk about their campaign, the work they’re doing to protect services at Torbay Hospital and why keeping vital acute healthcare close to home matters to our community.

The Little Bean will be keeping the humans suitably caffeinated, and we’ll have our event-only Puppaccinos on hand for the hounds — frothed goat’s milk topped with a little freeze-dried meat treat. Stanley has conducted the necessary quality control. Extensively.

No organised walk, no complicated agenda — just an afternoon on the beach, some brilliant local people and businesses, plenty of dogs, and an opportunity to support an important local cause.
