Another absolutely stunning October morning here at Maidencombe, and honestly, if this is autumn, we’ll take it ALL day long! 🍁🍂🤣

The sun is shining, the sea is sparkling, the coffee machine is fired up ☕️ and we’re ready to welcome you lovely lot!

So come on, grab your sunnies 😎, round up the dog 🐶 and head on down for a little slice of seaside happiness!

❤️🏖️ A little Café Rio update, peeps! ☕️

Well, as some of you may know, I’ve had a little accident 🙈 and my hand is currently in plaster! Unfortunately, it’s going to be a few more weeks before I’m back to my usual hands-on self.

Our lovely team have been doing an amazing job keeping everything running, but with the quieter autumn days, unpredictable weather and me unable to muck in as normal, I’ve had to make a sensible (although reluctant!) decision.

❤️ From Monday 19th October, Café Rio will be opening Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. ❤️

Of course, being a little beach café, we’re still at the mercy of the Great British weather 🌧️☀️ so on particularly wet or miserable days we may need to close or finish a little earlier. But don’t worry, we’ll always keep you updated right here on our page!

It’s certainly not what I’d choose, but sometimes you’ve got to listen to your head rather than your heart… or in my case, my hand! 🤣🖐️❤️

We’re still here, still smiling and still serving your favourite coffees and goodies by the sea! 🏖️☕️🐶

Good morning peeps & happy Sunday! ❤️☕️🏖️

Well, would you look at that view! 😍🌊 What a lovely, peaceful start to our Sunday here at Maidencombe!

Now, apparently the rain has plans to join us later ☔️🤣 but right now it’s dry, the sea is looking gorgeous and we’re making the most of every minute!

So why not get yourselves out, enjoy a little fresh sea air, take the dog for a wander 🐶 and pop down to see us for a delicious coffee, breakfast or one of our autumn treats! 🍁🍂

And talking of treats… have you tried our toasted banana & chocolate bread served warm with whipped cinnamon butter? 😋🤤 At just £4, it’s a little slice of autumn heaven!

We’re open from 9am until 4pm, with hot food served until 3pm.

Come on down and make the most of your Sunday with us. A little rain in the forecast doesn’t mean we can’t have a lovely day! ❤️

Good morning beautifuls & happy FriYAY! 🏖️☕️🐶❤️

Well… it’s not quite one of those beautiful sunny mornings we’ve become rather spoilt with lately ☀️😂 BUT the rain has passed for now, so we’ll take that! 🙌

Now, I know the forecast is threatening to spoil the fun again around mid-morning 💦☔️ but until then, we’re here, we’re open and the coffee machine is on! ☕️

So why not pop on a jacket, get a little fresh sea air and come on down for a coffee, something yummy and a catch-up by the sea? 🏖️🐶😋

Just a little heads-up! ❤️

We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather today and, if it turns particularly wet and quiet, we may close a little earlier than usual.

But that all depends on YOU lovely lot and how busy you keep us! 😂❤️ So come on down and give us a reason to stay open!

Another lovely October morning down here at Maidencombe, and we’re certainly not complaining! If autumn wants to keep treating us to a little sunshine, we’ll happily take every last bit of it! 😂🍂😎
