It's all coming back together but due to lack of space to do what we needed while the floor was being finished we will now reopen on Tuesday 2nd June (only doing this at the moment so I can concentrate 😘) Time tbc. Thanks to Carpetzone, Park Gate & HH Flooring, Southampton for their great work.

We will have Drinks and Cake only tomorrow and be closing at 12:30pm (22nd May) due to Staff availability. The coffee machine is then going on a holiday for its annual service and we are closed for the week while some refurbishment works take place.
Open again Monday 1st June @ 8am.

May Fayre Weekend - if you need a new flag we are open until 3pm today - we have had a box full from the History Society and they cost £35 each.
We are closed tomorrow (Saturday 2nd) and open 10:30am - 2:30pm on Sunday for takeaway drinks and cake.
Come along to Titchfield and have fun at the Fayre ☺️🌞

Apologies for a late night post.... It's been busy, busy, busy lately and we've got to the third Saturday of the month again in a blink and we will be closed tomorrow.
We have three of the team with April birthdays: Pippa, Evalyn and Harriet, with two of them before and after this weekend there's some celebrating to be done.

Monks Rest is closed Good Friday to Easter Monday and we'll be back on Tuesday 7th April.

Compared to last month, March is flying past and tomorrow (21st) is our Saturday to be closed. If you need to top up your cake cravings at the end of next week pop along to Titchfield Primary School for their Bake Sale raising funds for the Brain Tumour Research Charity.

21st February is the 3rd Saturday (although it feels like the 33rd - for the shortest month it feels very long this year?!), which means we are closed for the day.
A different view of Monks Rest which only our neighbour gets - the timber frame and mullioned window of the original building, as found in a survey by Titchfield History Society back in 2024. None of this is visible inside and was a complete surprise to me!
