Well… someone had to be first.

When we launched the F***y Bomb, this little legend marched straight up to the bar and volunteered for quality control.

Iris’s comment:

“I came in for biscuits, somehow ended up on the Buckfast. The F***y Bomb’s got a lovely nose, good body, and after two licks I could suddenly understand squirrels.”

Safe to say it’s got the paw of approval.

WORLD CUP SPECIALS HAVE LANDED AT THE WOOLPACK!

Just because we’re not showing Scotland’s first game doesn’t mean you can’t get warmed up properly.

Pop in for a pre-match pint and try our World Cup specials before heading off to wherever you’re watching the game.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday night. We honestly didn’t expect quite how busy it would be – the place was absolutely packed from start to finish and the atmosphere was incredible.

We’ve only just recovered! Thank you for your support, your patience at the bar, and for making it such a fantastic night. It’s evenings like that which remind us what a brilliant community we have. We’re lucky to have such amazing customers, even if some of you did leave us wondering whether we needed a bigger pub!

Now that we’ve finally caught our breath, we’re ready for another great afternoon of entertainment.

This Sunday we’re delighted to welcome local legend Jim Thornton & Guests to The Woolpack, featuring the world-famous* Kazoo Chorus.

*World-famous may be stretching it a little, but they’re definitely Tillicoultry-famous.

Live from 3pm, expect great music, plenty of laughs, and the perfect way to round off your weekend.

Most people raise money for charity by running marathons.

Andi has chosen the harder challenge: convincing everyone he actually owns a pair of trainers.

After years spent safely stationed behind a bar or at one, he’s now attempting exercise in aid of Marie Curie. Frankly, we’re as surprised as you are.

Dig deep and donate. Every pound goes to a fantastic cause, and every donation gives Andi one less excuse to stop and find the nearest pub.
