I want to share some news with you. Emma’s Cakes and Bakes will be closing in December. Sad news for many of you I know as I have baked cakes regularly for many of you since I opened in March 2017. I have made my decision due to a number of reasons including the rising cost of ingredients, baking equipment and fuel prices. Things have been a challenging recently and I needed to make this decision for both myself and my family.

As many of you know I have had a couple of other small jobs for some time and I am lucky that I am able to take on more hours with those. I have thoroughly enjoyed my baking journey with you all and I have taken my cake making as far as I can go. I feel like I’ll be leaving it on a high.

I have very limited availability for bookings and will officially switch my oven off on Sunday 17 December.

Thank you for being such loyal Emma’s Cakes and Bakes customers over the past six years. It’s been a pleasure to bake for you and I have loved hearing how much you have enjoyed eating my cakes!
