Today was a moment in time… literally! The stone wall isn’t far away now… just needs some finishing touches then the hog back sandstone toppers to go on, which will start next week.. but before that happens we thought it only right to hide a time capsule in the wall… so hopefully in many many years to come one day someone will find it… the time capsule is not sausage the dog won’t worry!! It’s a little tin, from (my fav cracker company), and it’s filled with some pictures of the farm currently, us as a family from when we arrived here in 1988 until now, and our stories from then up until current day… we have also included some facts about the current world we live in, some todays money, and the only thing in the entire world that doesn’t go off- heather honey from the farm 🍯 we hope this tin won’t be found for hundreds of years… but when it’s found one day it will bring us back alive at the farm once again…❤️
As the tin says- ‘GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME’. This is so unbelievably true… the development of this business has taken time, ourselves as people, this stone wall… and bloody good crackers! (PS I’ve used my fav tin, please send me another one!!)
