Our Tommy (the 2nd eldest rugby mad Bumpkin!) and the rest of the Under 13’s Team at Datchworth are raising money for their 2025 tour to Amsterdam with the support of Aaron at the Grandison and his team they are hosting their very own fundraising dinner, served by the squad themselves (but luckily not cooked!) Get yourself a table booked to help the lads out 💪

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the closing of our family business, Bumpkins tearoom. After nearly 14 years, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our doors. �
Our last day of business will be on December 21st 2024.�
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their tireless effort and work. Also our close friends and family for their unlimited help and support over the years we are grateful for each and every one of them and could not have achieved the success we did without their hard work and dedication.�
We would also like to express our appreciation to our customers for their trust and support over the years. We are so proud to have been cleaning your veins and arteries for the last 14 years!!

While we are saddened by the closure of Bumpkins tearoom, we are so grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained throughout the years. We will cherish these as we move forward onto our next chapter.

We hope to still continue with our outside catering business so it won’t be the last you’ll see of our famous hog roasts just yet and Jas will be continuing with her cake business.

It is also not the last you’ll see of the tearoom either. It’s moving onto its next chapter with new owners opening in January (dates to follow) which we trust they will do a sterling job of continuing to look after you all.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has been a part of our journey.
