On Wednesday 12 August, one of the deepest partial solar eclipses seen from the UK in years will sweep across the evening sky, reaching its peak shortly after 7pm.

With our south-westerly terrace and wide-open views across the links, The Links might just be a rather lovely place to watch it unfold—preferably with dinner and a glass in hand.
