Equine Entries Extended! 🐴

The online entries for Horse classes at the 2026 Newport Show have been extended to Sunday 28 June at midnight.

From show ponies to working hunters, it’s your chance to compete an award winning agricultural show.

📢 In light of the recent outbreak of Equine Influenza, all competitors are requested to ensure that their horses' influenza vaccinations are up to date and correctly recorded in their passports. We strongly recommend consulting your veterinary surgeon regarding your horse's vaccination status.

🐴 📢 Equine Influenza Update 📢 🐴

In light of the recent outbreak of Equine Influenza, all competitors are requested to ensure that their horses' influenza vaccinations are up to date and correctly recorded in their passports. We strongly recommend consulting your veterinary surgeon regarding your horse's vaccination status.

Competitors' passports will be checked when collecting competitor numbers, and proof of current vaccination will be required.

Please remain vigilant and monitor your horse for any signs of illness. To help reduce the risk of disease transmission, we ask that you avoid unnecessary horse-to-horse contact and do not share buckets, water containers, grooming equipment, or other tack between horses.

Further updates and guidance will be published on our social media channels and website as they become available.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping to safeguard the health and welfare of all horses attending the show.

We are holding the National Brownie Competition, here in the Rural Lifestyle Tent on the 11th July 2026 at the Newport Show! And it’s set to be a sweet one😆✨

All you need to do to enter is package up two slices of your finest brownie in packaging of your choice with a full list of ingredients and post or deliver them to Bromstead Hill Farm, Moreton, Shropshire, TF10 9DP, by Wednesday 8th July!📦

We are holding two classes this year for the National Brownie Competition - one for home bakers and another for professionals or businesses! Entries close on Saturday 4th July!

We can’t wait for you to all get your Mary Berry on and to taste some of the squidgy, chocolatey goodness you produce!!🍫
