Well done Jasper!! Congratulations on completing your level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship 🥳

Here at the Hundred House we have a 40 year track record of taking youngsters under our wing then developing and training them in arts of hospitality and cuisine and I’m sure Jasper is going to have a brilliant career in the kitchen!

You may see us writing about boxing every now and then and think what’s that got to do with food?

The answer is nothing at all!

Stuart & Jo got to know Ian, though boxing classes and now offer a class here at The Hundred House, most Mondays at 6pm.

When they heard of his plans to help veterans by offering free classes, the buisness gave sponsorship so Ian could make sure the kit was free and everyone had a club uniform.

Jo, goes to the veterans class too (as a non veteran) and says “When we sponsored the tops, I wanted to go along to meet some people. I wasn’t really intending to go to the class weekly, but I love it and rarely miss one!
I was made so welcome, the camaraderie of the wonderful people who go to this class is incredible and we always have a laugh too!”

You can read more here, if you know a veteran, tag them in!

Ian Dewey says boxing helps veterans adjust to life after military service.
