That’s the cellar all sorted for the weekend.

Yes I move the barrels myself (even those big 22s), yes it’s the smallest cellar I’ve worked with, but at least it’s not the scariest 🙈 that award goes to what was the Stafford Arms in Ketley followed closely by the Bacchus wellington 😂 much prefer me a ground level cellar

Here it is folks the news you’ve all been waiting for 😁

As of next week we will be open 7 days a week!!

Yes you read that right Wednesday, hump day, middle of the week day , however you describe it we will now be open for it!!

This is something I’ve pushed for since starting because I was told it’s what the locals want.
This is me that’s putting in the time and effort to give Woodside what they want.

So it’s pretty simple use us or lose us.

In addition to opening Wednesdays we will also be opening earlier.

Monday 3pm - close
Tuesday 3pm - close
Wednesday 3pm - close
Thursday 3pm - close
Friday 12pm - close
Saturday 12pm - close
Sunday 12pm - close

Opening Wednesday means we will be starting a fortnightly quiz. More details to follow.

We will be holding a psychic night, tickets go on sale shortly.

Lastly I’d like to say thank you for the support, whether that comes from popping in for a swift half, joining us for live entertainment or simply sharing a post, it all goes a long way and is massively appreciated.

Woodside is a fantastic place and somewhere I’ve called home for many years my aim is to keep our only local open. I can’t do that on my own though………..
