Homemade bakes, cakes, vegan ice cream, coffee, milkshakes, soft/alcoholic drinks & cocktails served all day Leanne and Ben have been creating and serving food in and around Tavistock since the lockdowns allowed us to. We have focused on affordable, tasty and interesting food, including street food at the Stannary Brewery, a bistro style pop-up at Lemon Grove Café, the Enchanted Woods outdoor feasts with food cooked in a homemade wood-fired kitchen, to running The Leaping Salmon in Horrabridge for over three years. We love working together and it shows. Our ethos is simple, we serve what we love, how we believe it should be served. We’ve built a great team of local heroes to help us, and are lucky enough to have a lot of local regulars who come just to find out what we’re cooking up next. Taking on Eastgate Brasserie is a big step for us. We are investing in what we believe to be a fabulous venue, with huge potential, right in the heart of Tavistock. With a clean and simple interior and a beautiful courtyard on the river, we hope to offer something a little different in this wonderful town of ours. Come and join our journey

Friday 6th November from 6pm

Our next Eastgate Feast is going to be a proper November night of smoky, spicy, comforting food!

We’ve put together a feast packed with big flavours:

Slow-roast beef short rib
Loaded bonfire chips with spicy mayo & crispy onions
Cajun-spiced mac ’n’ cheese
Sweetcorn with chilli butter & paprika
Campfire beans with chorizo & red pepper
Fiery slaw

And to finish…

S’mores
Warm chocolate brownie, toasted marshmallows & biscuit crumb.

£35 per person, including a welcome drink and the full Firecracker Feast.

This week’s cheesecake is a little bit different…

Beetroot & cacao cheesecake with a gluten-free biscuit base, creamy beetroot and cacao filling, and finished with dark chocolate curls.

Rich, chocolatey and with a little earthy twist, £5 per slice.

And tonight is our Oktoberfest Feast Night!

Our special feast is on from 6pm, but our normal menu is also available if you fancy something from the usual Eastgate favourites.

Plus, Happy Hour from 4–8pm, 2 of the same cocktails for £15.

We’re getting ready for a proper feast night at Eastgate as Oktoberfest comes to Tavistock!

Join us this Friday 2nd October from 6pm for an evening of German l***r, hearty food and plenty of Bavarian good times.

For £35 per person, you’ll get:

OKTOBERFEST IS COMING TO EASTGATE

Fancy a Friday night feast with a little taste of Bavaria?

On Friday 2nd October from 6pm, we’re bringing Oktoberfest to Eastgate.

For £35 per person, you’ll get a German l***r on arrival, followed by a proper Bavarian feast of:

Beer-braised pork & bratwurst
Creamy mashed potatoes
Braised red cabbage
Sauerkraut
Pretzel & mustard

And to finish, apple strudel with custard.

Summer might be over, but that doesn’t mean our feast nights are! We’re taking a break from the BBQ for the time being and bringing you some seriously delicious autumn feasts instead.

Gather your friends, grab a table and come and enjoy a big plate of comfort food, cold German l***r and a proper Friday night at Eastgate.
