Are you a parent or carer of a child or young person with SEND? Looking for support, advice, or simply a space where people understand?

Join us at The Den Coffee House for our next Parent Talks evening featuring the wonderful team from Conquest Centre.

Apologies again for closing today.

When I went in to work this morning both my fridge freezer and my ice cream freezer had stopped working. This has caused a lot of wastage and so I’m taking the day to re order and collect stock and figure out why this has occurred.

Alongside the Air Con also breaking at The Mad hub this has impacted us greatly.

We will be back open Wednesday and will opening Friday too so please pop in and support us x

Parents and carers — if you have a child with SEND, a new research project called ‘Scream and SEND’ wants to hear from you.

Led by parent campaigner Joeli Brearley, this research is looking at impacts of the current SEND system on families, education and employment.

☕️ Another wonderful day at The Den Coffee House! ☕️

Today we were pleased to welcome Gideon Amos - MP for Taunton & Wellington who hosted a coffee morning with parents and carers to discuss the proposed SEND reforms, the Government’s White Paper, and what these changes could mean for children, young people, and families in the future.

It was a valuable opportunity for families to share their experiences, ask questions, and ensure their voices are heard as discussions continue around the future of SEND support.

As always, it was fantastic to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors to the café. Seeing our community continue to grow and connect is exactly why The Den exists.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, shared their thoughts, and helped create such a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
