🍻 What a brilliant day at The Village Inn yesterday!

It was lovely to see so many people coming in to try the menu, enjoy an ice cold pint, a glass of w**e or a well kept real ale and we rounded off the evening with fantastic live music from Clay Highway 🎶🤠

Come and settle in beside the fire with an ice cold continental l***r, a well kept real ale or a lovely glass of w**e. 🍷🍺

A big thank you to our neighbours The Courtyard, Tarleton, where we found the fantastic Beaumont rug now taking pride of place by our fireplace. It was the perfect finishing touch and even better that we could purchase it locally.

We’re proud to support fellow Tarleton businesses. When local businesses support one another, the whole village benefits.

🍽️ TODAY’S THE DAY, TARLETON! 🍽️

Our brand new menu launches today, with food served from 1pm! 🎉

Whether you fancy a succulent beef burger 🍔, a crispy Southern fried chicken burger, our pie of the day 🥧, traditional fish and chips 🐟🍟, or a selection of delicious small plates, there’s something waiting for you!

For our opening phase, we’re launching with a carefully selected, slightly reduced menu while the final pieces of kitchen equipment are installed. This allows our chef to concentrate on doing fewer dishes brilliantly and delivering the quality and consistency we expect from day one. Once everything is in place, an even bigger and better menu will follow! 👨‍🍳✨

Gluten free and dairy free options will also be available. Please speak to your server when ordering, and we will always do our very best to accommodate your dietary requirements. 🌱

We’re beginning with a tempting selection of pub favourites, small plates and indulgent desserts, but this is only the beginning… 👀

Expect tempting small plates, sharing dishes and proper pub favourites all centred around honest, freshly prepared food and quality ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible.

What started as a chilled Monday evening soon took an unexpected turn when Josh arrived on his motorbike, sat down at the piano and treated us to a few classics and the customers are absolutely loving it! 👏🎶

☀️ Good morning, Tarleton!

What an incredible opening night! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came and supported your new local. The pints were flowing, the fine w**es were poured, and our small plate canapés went down a treat! 🍺🍷

A huge thank you to Ged Teevan and Andy Cara for keeping us entertained throughout the evening. 🎶

We’re back today:

🕒 Open 3pm until late
🍽️ Complimentary canapés this evening
